Help & Support: Setting Up Your Pawzmo Smart Band

Welcome to the Pawzmo app support section! Here’s how to connect your Pawzmo Smart Band to the app using Bluetooth and WiFi, as well as tips for troubleshooting common setup issues.

Connecting via Bluetooth:

  • Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is turned on.
  • Power on your Pawzmo Smart Band.
  • Open the Pawzmo app and navigate to Settings > Pair Device.
  • Choose your Pawzmo Smart Band from the available devices list.
  • Follow the app's instructions to finish pairing.

Troubleshooting Bluetooth:

  • Device Not Found: Ensure your Pawzmo Smart Band is within 10 meters of your phone and is fully charged.
  • Connection Failed: Restart both your phone and the Pawzmo Smart Band, then attempt the connection again.
  • Already Paired: If the device is paired but not showing in the app, unpair it from your phone’s Bluetooth settings and reconnect through the app.

Connecting via WiFi:

  • Open the Pawzmo app and go to Settings > WiFi Setup.
  • Choose your home WiFi network and enter the password.
  • Ensure the Pawzmo Smart Band is within range of the WiFi network.
  • Once connected, your smart band will sync data via WiFi for continuous tracking.

Troubleshooting WiFi:

  • Connection Failure: Ensure your WiFi is 2.4 GHz, as some devices may not support 5 GHz networks.
  • Weak Signal: Position the Pawzmo Smart Band closer to the WiFi router during setup.
  • Incorrect Password: Double-check that the WiFi password entered in the app is correct.

Additional Troubleshooting:

  • Firmware Updates: Ensure your Pawzmo Smart Band is running the latest firmware by checking for updates in Settings > Firmware Update in the app.
  • Factory Reset: If problems persist, perform a reset by holding the power button for 10 seconds, then reconnect following the steps above.

The Pawzmo Smart Band is a wearable device for dogs, designed to be worn around the neck. It tracks activity, sleep, eating, and drinking patterns but is not a medical device. It is intended solely for general wellness and fitness purposes.





1. Use of Products and Services

You may only use the Pawzmo products and services for personal, non-commercial purposes and not for the benefit of third parties.

To access the features, you must create a Pawzmo account by downloading the Pawzmo app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Please note that the app will not function correctly (e.g., displaying data) unless the Pawzmo Smart Band is paired and registered during onboarding.

For tracking dogs only: Pawzmo products and services are designed exclusively for monitoring dogs and are not intended for tracking children, humans, or objects.
Pawzmo Smart Band tracks your dog’s activity, sleep, eating, and drinking patterns to help identify behavioral changes that may warrant consulting a veterinarian.

Not a diagnostic/medical tool: The insights provided by the products and services are not intended for diagnosing, curing, mitigating, treating, or preventing diseases or medical conditions. Always consult a veterinarian for professional advice.

While the application, products, and services provide insights into pet care, they are not intended to offer veterinary medical advice.
Use at your own risk: Reliance on information provided through the application, products, or services is solely at your discretion.
Pawzmo is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from reliance on veterinary advice obtained through the application, products, or services.
Pawzmo does not practice or interfere with the veterinary profession. Licensed veterinary professionals are solely responsible for the services they provide and must comply with applicable professional and licensing requirements.





3. User Accounts

To use Pawzmo’s products and services, you will need to register with a user ID (name, email, and password).
- Accurate information: You must provide accurate, complete, and updated details during registration. Failure to do so may lead to the termination of your account.
- Password security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. If accessing the service through third-party platforms, you consent to Pawzmo storing the account credentials necessary to enable functionality.


4. Personal Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of personal information:
- Contact Information: Name, email address.
- Demographic Data: City, state.
- Profile Data: Username, password, and information about your dog (name, breed, gender, weight, height, neutered status, profile photo).
- Device Data: Sleep trends, activity levels, eating and drinking behaviors, and other metrics collected via the Pawzmo smart band.
- Technical Data: We collect location information from BLE for older Android phones.
- Data stored on users device (mobile): User UUID, Pawzmo device MAC address, dog name


5. How We Use Your Personal Information

- Service communication: Send announcements, updates, and security alerts, and provide support.
- Personalization: Tailor your experience with the service based on your preferences and data.
- Research and development: Improve services and products by analyzing anonymized and aggregated data.



If personal information is no longer required, we may delete, anonymize, or isolate it from further processing.



Declining Location Data: Certain features, including Bluetooth connectivity for pairing with the Pawzmo Smart Band, require location access on devices running Android 9 or older to enable BLE scanning. Choosing not to provide this information may result in limited functionality.



Security: We implement safeguards to protect your data, but no internet-based system is entirely secure.



Policy changes: We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting the updated version on our platform.
